Moonlight, And With It Peaceful Solitude.

When the daytime creatures for the night have gone to ground
On Dae Shore by the ocean is where this roamer will be found
Where a subtle wind blows, playing games with my hair
As restless as me, a lost spirit of the air

A single torch still burning upon the isle of Hausson
Where this eve, diligently, Smith Runag works on
The light cast upon the breaking waves so red
It's violent hue a reminder of the blood that we shed

Myself, one tiny speck beneath the full Moon's crowning glory
The scene as serene as that from a fairy story
Where the starlight reflects, rippled in the water so pretty
So peaceful and calm, away from the bustle of town or city

From the far off wilderness echoes a lone wolf's howl
Met and answered by a flyer of the night, a single, graceful owl
So I sit in this tranquility on the fine, yellow, grained sand
Whilst in the cool, chilled water I trail the fingers of one hand

But still when I come here I know not where to start
For the shadows cast more heavily than the weight of this one's heart
And though some may argue that 'tis yet above my station
With the sky God come I, for thoughts and contemplation

And I wonder how I seem to your eyes, as you look down on me
An innocent girl yet in her prime, so happy and carefree ?
Or in your majestic wisdom do you see through all the lies ?
To a lost, unconfident, lonely one hidden 'neath a veiled disguise.
So be surprised not to catch a tear from my weeping
To the heavens above, while the sun Goddess lays sleeping

And in true regret I know this moment ends all too soon;
But for now, leave me silent, silhouetted by the light of the moon.
