When The Rains Doth End
(c) 2002, Foxy!
When the rains doth end and new peace fills the sky
I beseech; turn thine eyes to the heavens and find
As the nightingale sings - need thou question why ?
A beauty of fulgurant hues to dazzle the mind.
For in yonder blue empyrean, a sight to behold;
A septet of regal pigments in the now cloudless morn'
Glittering yet more than a whole Kingdom's gold
The crowning glory left with the passing of the storm.
What man discerns lands and riches that lie over the rainbow;
Perhaps mighty armor and jewels - yet who can say.
O', four great Totem Gods, perhaps thou know ?
For no matter how we journey, it's grace seems still further away.
A resplendent sword of seven wonders ? For yet many have guessed;
What doth await, higher than the vehement eagle can soar ?
Perhaps before us lays a most ambitiously herculean quest;
On the far side of that supernal, prodigious arc, afore.
Yet this one still wanders through the sodden downpour;
And thy steps down this flooded farm track do wend
Does she knowest what thy rainbow's majestie has in store ?
Mayhap I'll let thee know - when the rains doth end.
